Authenticity – Uncovering Innate Strengths

When I launched this practice, my guiding mission was to help people crack open illusionary fallacies that block out their exceptional talents and strengths. I work with people from all kinds of backgrounds. (Thriving and healing are available to everyone.) While I have had the honor to work with some fantastic professionals in the corporate world, I have also worked with people who may not have had supportive starts in their lives like some of the people in corporate America. Don’t get me wrong, everyone I have had the honor of working with has had some measure of having to shed negative, inaccurate beliefs about themselves so they can heal to activate their talents and strengths. This process is often tricky, emotional, and draining, but like a beautiful baby at the end of a nine-month pregnancy, it is awe-inspiring and worth it beyond words.

What often amazes me about people who have had some of life's biggest challenges and who are trying to overcome extreme self-doubt is the powerful beauty they uncover within themselves. They find extraordinary strength and talents when they learn that they do not have to accept the limitations that others put on them (very often by manipulative people who are also suffering). I was working with just such a woman the other day. She has had a very challenging life, but after we did some very in-depth work, she realized how amazing and talented she was and what talents she possessed that she could activate to support herself. Her child and, most importantly, the story she had been telling herself to keep herself small was made up by someone else who needed her to be small. The story was inaccurate; she now has the knowledge and vocabulary to rewrite her life narrative and achieve personal transformation.

(Note: I am not sharing the details of this client or story because it is hers to tell. It is a real story and a fantastic example of how each of us has a Phoenix inside us waiting to rise from the ashes. What I can share is that she was a Reiki and QHHT client. We needed to go beyond her conscious mind to her subconscious to dislodge old beliefs, unearth the strengths she wasn't mindful of, and have her subconscious heal the inaccurate beliefs and feelings about herself.)
